What's new? I'll be keeping everyone posted on what's going on with my artwork, what has sold, and what new things I'll be offering, here in this section. Plus, I let you know if I've made any site changes, and what I have planned for the site in the future! Also, if I know of any events that are going on which I will be attending, I'll post those here as well. Announcements 11/16/2008- So, in preparation for Black Market I made a whole bunch of new bottles, but since I was busy getting ready, I didn't have time to list all of them on my website. I made etched gemstones, colored square bottles, tall red poisons, another absinthe, and many, many tiny bottle necklaces! Now that I have some time, I thought it would be a good idea to update. In the Artwork section I've added the photos of all the new pieces that I've taken so far, spread out across the Pirate, Magic & Fantasy, Dark Things, and Tiny Bottles Galleries. I still have a lot left to take, and a few that sold before I could even show them on my site. One of my favorites is called Victorian Lady Skull, now in the Sold Gallery, and I made her to go along with my Gentlemen Skulls. She sold during the Black Market. I also made a new set of Christmas Poisons for this season, and I'll be listing them in one of my online stores soon.
On another note, I didn't sell out of the Bats Day 2008 bottles, so if anyone out there went to Bats Day, but missed out on the Black Market, this is your chance to get a bottle! Just message email me here if you're interested in one of the ones that's left. 11/5/2008- The Online store and my Etsy store will be down for a few days, until after Bats Day. I've decided to bring all my inventory to the show. I do have a lot of new items I'll be bringing, but I don't have time for a big site update right now, so hopefully I'll have some time before the show to catch everyone up! In case I don't get a chance to, however, I'd like to at least let you all know that I will be having a raffle to decide who will get the #13 Bats Day bottle, and the tickets will be on sale at the show. 10/1/2008- I updated my Showcase Piece on the first of the month for once, yay! This month it's my Bats Day 2008 bottles, since they're already very popular. I also added some new bottles to my Etsy Store. They are the Dia de los Muertos bottles that I've been wanting to make for a while. These bottles are the same type as the Poison bottles, but they have rainbow leather cord instead of black or brown. I may be setting up a new website soon for people who are local and might want to contact me to do staging/photography for their items. I've already started doing some photography for Earth Daughter Arts, and all the pictures on this site were taken by me as well. 9/29/2008- Well, I said I was going to reveal more about the Bats Day exclusive bottles, and here it is. I'm making a limited amount of Bats Day 2008 bottles that will only be available at Black Market 2008! There will be thirty in total (each numbered and signed), but #7 will be donated to the pre-show raffle. I've already had numerous inquiries about #13, so I might have to do something special with that one as well, so that it doesn't end up being a first come, first serve type of thing. I'm thinking of possibly selling raffle tickets for that one, and then picking a winner sometime later in the day. That way, even if the other bottles sell out in the morning, people who come late can have a chance at that one. A preview of the Bats Day 2008 bottles is in my Dark Things Gallery. I added another bottle to my Custom Gallery that I forgot to put up when it was finished. It is a beautiful heart-shaped bottle commissioned by Cynthia of Cynthia's Boutique; therefore, I call it Cynthia's Heart. 9/24/2008- Okay, so here's what's new lately. First of all, I've been absolutely panicking about the fact that Bats Day is now only a month away, and I don't have nearly enough bottles ready yet! I'm going to have at least one bottle design that will ONLY be available at Black Market, and there will only be thirty bottles made of that design, but I'll reveal more about that by the end of this week. Next, I've just created a bunch of new bottle types for an online store called Earth Daughter Arts. They are really colorful, small, square-shaped bottles, and these ones had to be sandblasted rather than acid-etched. The result is a design that shows up far more clearly, because the glass underneath the varnish is clear rather than the same color as the top layer. They came out very nicely, and they're definately one of my favorites now! I also created some more tiny bottles with liquids, and some poison-type bottles for Earth Daughter Arts, but I believe these will be showing up at local Pagan Faires before showing up on their website. To check out the new bottles, go to my Magic & Fantasy Gallery. I also decided to create a new page today. The slideshow in my Pirate Gallery for the Tiny Bottles was getting way too long to expect anyone to patiently wait to see them all. So, I created a Tiny Bottles Gallery that has all the tiny bottle designs I've ever made on it. The purpose of this page is to help people who want to order a custom tiny bottle from me, because these are the easiest to ship, and the simplest designs(not necessarily the easiest to make, though.) These will be available internationally as well, and the cost for one will always be $18 plus shipping and handling. And last, but definitely not least, I woke up to a surprise today! I checked my site reports and found out that I had many more hits than I usually average in a day. Wondering where they all came from, I checked my referring sources, and found out that my site had been featured in a blog called Chateau Bizarre! It is a really interesting and apparently VERY popular blog devoted to “hardcore glamour and curious finds, reviewed daily.” I've already bookmarked at least three sites that I found while perusing their reviews! 8/19/2008- I've finally gotten Paypal buttons to work with my website, which means I was able to correctly set up my Online Store so that I'm selling a few of my one-of-a-kind items through this site and not my Etsy store. I've put Absinthe; La Fee Verte in my Online store now, and a few of the bottles that I had on Etsy before, such as Grog and Dragon's Den. Meanwhile, I did end up taking Calico Jack and Rumchkin down to Hyaena Gallery, so those are available too, now! If you don't see them on the Hyaena website, but you'd like to purchase one of them, just email Bill about it, and I'm sure he'll be able to help you out. 8/13/2008- I've been working(or I should say, "delaying working") on my Absinthe; La Fee Verte bottle for the past year now! What can I say, fairies are daunting to me. I'm glad I finally got it finished though. I think I'll make it my showcase piece for this month. I haven't decided where to sell it yet, but it will be available either through Hyaena, or directly through my website. I'm going to set up paypal buttons in my Online Store page sometime this week(hopefully), so that people won't have to set up an Etsy account to buy all my items from me in the future.
I also made two more pirate bottles(just can't stop with the pirate stuff ). They are called Calico Jack and Rumchkin, and right now they are not listed anywhere yet, but in all probability these will go down to Hyaena's tomorrow. Another thing for Hyaena; I decided to fill some tiny etched bottles with colored water to help people be able to visualize what they can do with them, since I get so many people asking what to put in them! They will be the same price as the others, though. Last but not least, I have some bottles at a new store now, called Cauldron. It's in Silverlake on Rowena Ave. They have some of my purple bottles listed on their website, but they're also selling some of my tiny bottle necklaces as well. 7/16/2008- Hopefully this won't become a trend with me updating every once in two or three months! Regardless of that, though, I have been working on some new things even while I haven't been updating my site. If you've been looking at my photos you can see that I've been going crazy with all those little tiny bottles I bought! They make really cute little necklaces, and I've been getting the most custom orders from them, so if anyone out there would like to order one from me personally, feel free to email me! I made a few of the tiny bottles especially for Etsy, and even more for Hyaena Gallery. I've create some bats, spiders, dragonflies, demons...basically, if I can fit it onto a tiny bottle, than I'm gonna try it! Already Hyaena has sold three of them, so I'm glad I decided to buy so many! In my Custom Gallery I have a new bottle called Know Your Enemy, which was created for Rachel and is based on the logo for the band Dysfunction, as a present for a member of the band. It's one of my favorites, even though the design itself isn't mine. I like the face X) So, I added it to the Showcase for this month as well...too bad the month is more than halfway over already! I also put Isis into my Custom Gallery, which I think came out as quite a nice custom piece for one of the regular oval bottles. 5/20/2008- First off... Hi! Long time, no see! My fault, I know, and I'm sorry! Ever since bringing all my stuff home from Deva's, I haven't really felt like I needed to create more pieces. It was just so crowded around here!! However, I've dropped a few items off at Hyaena, and I've started working in a much smaller medium... I've found teeny, tiny bottles, so I decided to etch them and make necklaces out of them! They are f-ing adorable, if I do say so myself ;) Right now the ones I've already made are listed in my Etsy shop. Eventually, though, I plan on bringing a bunch over to Hyaena. Okay, lastly, but not least, I got a vendor's table at Bats Day Black Market! Hopefully I'll see a bunch of you there! 4/9/2008- Wow, it is time for a massive update! First off, Enchanted Deva's has closed, so all of the items I had in the store will be eventually going up on my Etsy page. I've already put up a few things, such as all of The Bells!, Grog, Green Man, Dragon's Den, and a new piece that I never got around to posting about before, called Corsair's Rum. I am very disappointed, as you can imagine, about the shop's closing. It was the first place I had ever sold any of my artwork, and also a great place to hang out and make new friends. I believe in my heart that the store will be back, though. Maybe not as Enchanted Deva's, but it wasn't the name that counted, it was the people and the place. I have been updating this site without adding new posts to my News page. For instance, last month I created a new custom bottle for Liberté Sparrow, and I uploaded the pictures of it and made it into last month's Showcase. The Showcase piece for this month has since changed to Schumacher Family Crest, which is a bottle that I made for a friend of mine. I also took the Pirate Flag Glasses out of my Online Store, and those may be back again, but probably sold as individual glasses next time rather than as a set. As for site changes, I've added a new page for all my sold works, called the Sold Gallery. That way it will be esaier for people to see what i still have available to either sell via an invoice, or to put up in my shop. I also converted all the links on my Links page into banners, just to make it look pretties. Plus, I added banners to Pirates Magazine, The Lost Goat, and Purple Top Hat. 2/16/2008- Again, it's been a while since I've updated and I only have a couple things to report. I've added two new items to my growing list of bottles at Deva's, and they are the Swordfish bottle, and Phoenix Summit. The Swordfish is in my Pirate Gallery, while Phoenix Summit is in the Magic & Fantasy Gallery. I've also taken in a few more Little Purple Bottles with different designs on them. I created a custom order for Black Rory Harper, a member of the pirate band, Pirates of New Providence. It 's his own harp design, and I really like the way the bottle turned out! You can take a look at it in my Custom Gallery. 2/02/2008- Today is the opening reception for Otherworld Visions by Kythera of Anerven, 7-10 pm, at Enchanted Deva's, and to celebrate I've created a few dragon bottles! I plan on being there tonight to meet the artist, who creates beautiful dragon art, and is soon to release a book on how to draw dragons! I brought in two new dragon bottles to Enchanted Deva's this week, one of which has made it into my Showcase Piece of the Month area. The piece is called Dragon's Hoard, and it's definately one of my favorite pieces so far. The other piece is called Dragon's Den, and it is the most unusually-shaped bottle that I've come across. It looks like a glass mountain with a blood-red cap! Anyone who knows me knows how much I love dragons, so these bottles were a real treat for me to make! 1/27/2008- I've finally added some more items to my Etsy store today! I have an Egyptian/Valentines theme going with my Anubis bottles, Eye of Horus bottles, and Sacred Heart bottles. You can get to the listings by clicking on the links in my Online Store page. I've also taken in a few Sacred Heart bottles to Deva's, along with another "Little Purple Bottle" with a cute little key design. 1/17/2008- I finished a new piece today, and I took it over to Deva's. It's called "Sparrow's Rum", and you can probably guess who it's inspired by ;) I'm also working on another little something for Valentines Day, which will hopefully be finished by tomorrow. I'd like to get more done for Etsy, and I will soon, but I'm in a bit of a scramble right now. I'll try to keep a little more updated than I was last month, though! 1/11/2008- Holy George, it's been ages since I updated!! Actually, I was in kind-of a funk last month, and so I got next-to-nothing done, but I'm back and I've started off the year with a bit of humor. I created some valentines bottles, specially tailored for the pirate you love! They're called "Naughty Pirate Love Notes", and they live up to their name! I also made another valentine called "Bleedin' Heart Valentine" for the pirate who wants to show his/her Love how much it hurts to be away from them at sea. All these bottles can be found at Enchanted Deva's. Check out my Pirate Gallery to read the naughty notes, or just stop by the shop to see them in person! There are a few new Little Purple Bottles available at Deva's as well. I haven't had a "Showcase Piece of the Month" yet this month either, so I decided to make "Bleedin' Heart Valentine" this month's piece. It's my favorite one so far this month, but I promise to have a much more spectacular piece up next month!
12/08/2007- I added three new Little Purple Bottles to my Online Store! There's only one of each right now, but hopefully they do well so I can make more. 12/07/2007- I've added the second goblins of the Squidjet, Keez, and Dayzd series to my online store! Keez #1 sold out instantly! I guess people like having bad typing come out of their keyboards, lol! 12/05/2007- I've caught two more goblins and bottled them! These two are for sale on Etsy, and you can see them if you look at my Online Store page. Keez was driving me nuts, and I'm so glad I finally bottled him! He kept making me type too many letters in my blogs, or making me spell words wrong :P I've decided the Goblins in a Bottle are going to be Limited Editions, and that I will make ten of each(if they sell well ^-^). That means that the four I originally brought to Hyaena are going to be the "number ones" of their series, but they aren't numbered, so they're invisible number ones. I'm also thinking of making goblin plushies of these guys... what do you think? I finally added Pixie Pirate to the Etsy shop too. She's on my Online Store page as well. There's an event this Saturday, Dec. 8th, at Enchanted Deva's called the Dark Christmas Celebration, and it's from 7pm-10pm. I believe I may attend, so stop by and say, "Hi!" 12/03/2007- I've made a few more pirate-themed bottles and added them to my Pirate Gallery today. The new pieces are called "Pixie Pirate", "Blackbeard's Rum", and "Anora". I'm a little bit late on the Showcase of the Month piece, but I've changed that today as well, and the new showcase piece is "Pixie Pirate". She's a little more detailed than a few of my other pieces, and I love how all of her embellishments match the bottle itself, which is why I gave her the honor :) I think I may put her up on Etsy tomorrow, but the other two new bottles will be going to Deva's. I've almost finished some new goblins for Etsy as well, so hopefully I'll be able to list those tomorrow too. For some reason the stupid slideshow feature for my website does not like the color black; therefore, any picture with black in it gets random white pixels speckled all over it, and it looks terrible! For that reason, I could not make "Anora" into a slideshow, and instead I just placed the two pics I have of her one-on-top-of-the-other in her space. I guess I'll just have to make sure I use less black in my staging next time. 11/27/2007- Today I added the Poison bottles to my Etsy store, and a new item, "Ostrich Feather" bottles, to my Magic & Fantasy Gallery. I also hid an Easter Egg somewhere on my site, and it'll be interesting to see if anyone finds it (for those of you who are getting ready to look for a colorful hard-boiled egg, in the software world an Easter Egg is simply a hidden surprise somewhere in a game or on a site!) Would you like a hint as to where it might be? Okay, here it is: The signifigance of this particular Easter Egg might be lost to you if you've never worried about your odor whilst sailing the seas! 11/24/2007- I've replaced my Online Store page content with previews of items I'm now listing on Etsy.com. I decided that since the Paypal buttons won't work on Microsoft Office Live I needed a better way to sell my artwork. I've only listed one item so far, the "Pirate Flag Glasses", but I will be listing more in the future, including more of those same glasses! Please take the time to check it out, and if there is anything in particular that you would like to see my create for Etsy, please e-mail me and let me know! 11/20/2007- I have added three new items to both my galleries and a couple shops today! They are "The Bells" in the Pirate Gallery, "Bastet" in the Magic & Fantasy Gallery, "Monkey MAD!!!" in the Dark Things Gallery. "Monkey MAD!!!" is at Hyaena, whilst the other items are at Deva's. I'm going to be taking some time now to create a few pieces for etsy.com, which I think will replace the contents of my Online Store page, since the buttons don't work. I'm going to start with "Pirate Flag Glasses" and some new "Goblin in a Bottle"s that will be exclusively Etsy. Hopefully this will be done before the end of the week, so that people can order for Christmas. :D 11/16/2007- 11/15/2007- ::Whew:: I just finished dropping off a boatload of new bottles today, and I've moved "She's Back" and "Hell's Pizza Oven" over to Hyaena Gallery. I also dropped off a few new oval bottles, including "Spider Face" bottles, "Beastie" bottles, "Wyvern" bottles, and "Goblin in a Bottle" bottles. The goblins are my favorite new theme, and I think I'll create a line of them, including possibly some Christmas goblins! Each one comes with it's own card with information about the goblin, and if you go over to the Dark Things Gallery you'll be able to read what each one says.
And speaking of Christmas, I also brought some items in to Deva's today, among them some new "Christmas Poison Bottles"! I brought in two more Little Purple Bottles as well, but one sold right away :)
I put a new item in my Custom Gallery, and it will be up for auction tomorrow at 6:00pm at College View School in Glendale, CA. It's "Christmas Tree" mirror, and the proceeds will go to helping children with special needs. There are some other bottles that don't have a home yet, but I added them to the Dark Things Gallery none-the-less. They are called "Snake Oil" bottles, and I haven't decided who will get them yet! 11/13/2007- I sold "Sea Turtle" the other day, and I took "She's Back!" home from Deva's. I think "She's Back!" may find a home at a gallery soon, but we'll see. I added a few more items to my galleries. They are the "Little Purple Bottles", another "Pretty Little Trap", "Seagull or Crow? Damned if I Know!", and "Hell's Pizza Oven". Most of the little purple bottles are at Deva's right now, but a few may go to some new places soon. They are little 1oz bottles perfect for oils or herbs. "Hell's Pizza Oven" is probably going to end up at Hyaena Gallery. I also added a piece to the custom gallery which I created for Enchanted Deva's manager, Krystal. It's called "Enchanted Deva & Sailor Jerry", and you can take a good look at it if you go and visit her shop! :) 11/9/2007- I have another new place that stocks mt bottles! It's Hyaena Gallery on Olive Ave. in Burbank, CA. I've brought in only a few bottles so far, and only one type that I hadn't premiered before, which is the "Demon Eye Bottles". I'll begin to bring in some new, more eclectic items starting next week. I also brought in a lot more new bottles to Dark Delicacies today. They are in the Dark Things Gallery, entitled "Web Bottles", "Raven Bottles", and "Pretty Little Traps". The last one is my absolute favorite as far as the three inch bottles go. I made a couple, but D.D. only bought one type, so the other will probably go to Deva's. Speaking of Deva's, they seem to have a lot going on tomorrow! Here's a quote from one of Enchanted Deva's bulletins:
"Mellisa Finch will be signing her book "Fire of the Eclipse" from 4-7pm
and at 7pm Cradle Thorne will be conducting a ritual for Cerridwen we ask for a $10 donation to cover expenses and there is a potluck that follows.
and I am so excited Panzy the Pirate from Pocketful of Posies has arrived in Port today!!! The dolls are fabulous, you may have been drooling over my display one, and they are $18 each.
hope to see you in port
DEVA and the crew" 11/4/2007- I've started selling my bottles at a new store! It's called Dark Delicacies, and it's on Burbank Blvd in Burbank, CA. I've only two types opf bottles there so far, the "Black Widow Bottles" and the "Bat Bottles", but I'll be making more for them soon. I also changed the galleries around a bit. Now there are only pirate and nautical things in the Pirate Gallery; I moved all the fantasy and magical items to the Magic & Fantasy Gallery, and the dark and spooky themed items to the Dark Things Gallery. Most of the items are still only available at Deva's, but I think categorizing helps a little, so that people can quickly find what they're interested in. I'm going to bring more bottles in to Dark Delicacies next week, and I'm anxious to check out their book signing on November 11th for the Spectrum 14 book! 11/1/2007- I added "Dragon's Flight" to the Waiting Gallery today, and also made it into my Showcase Piece of the Month. This is my favorite piece I've done so far! 10/30/2007- I created a new page in the galleries today, called the Waiting Gallery. The purpose of this page is for me to put up work that I've finished, but which does not have a place to stay. Most will probably go to Deva's eventually, but for now they are for sale here; just write me an e-mail. I put "Scary Monkey Rum" in there for the time being, and I have another one that I'm really excited about, but it won't go up until Thursday, because it's my showcase piece for November. I also added "Happy Dragon!" to the Custom Gallery today. If I don't update tomorrow, have a Happy Halloween Everyone!! 10/27/2007- Huzzah! I finally put up an Online Store! Unfortunately there's been a hiccup with trying to use Paypal buttons for people to purchase my items; apparently Microsoft Ofiice Live can't handle them! Oh well, you can still buy from me online now, only you'll have to e-mail me a request for the item you want. Currently in the store I've only put up the poison bottles, but I've also made the Pirate Gallery open for requests as well. If there's a piece in the Pirate Gallery that you wish to buy, e-mail me and I will have the store put it on hold, then I will send you a Paypal invoice. I will be taking requests for custom work as well, so check out my Custom Gallery for info! I'm only open to customers in the Continental US right now. EDIT: I forgot to mention that I put up the pics from the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab wedding set! They're in the Custom Gallery, so check them out and tell me what you think! Congrats Beth & Ted!! Oh, and one more thing! Both "Forest Guardian & Fox Spirit" and "Celtic Tree of Life" sold yesterday! Pretty good for me considering I had just brought the former into the shop the day before!
10/26/2007- There are some new items available for purchase at Deva's today. I brought in two more Pirate Flag Symbol mugs, "Thomas Tew's" and "Christopher Moody's", and I put all the mugs together as part of a slideshow in the Pirate Gallery. I also created "The Green Man" and "Forest Guardian & Fox Spirit", which are not exactly pirate-like, but are still for sale at the pirate shop! In my Custom Gallery are new pieces as well, one which is a pewter mug I created for Cindy, named "Salty Seahag Tavern". The other pieces I just added to that gallery are actually for sale at another shop called Panpipes Magickal Marketplace, but I don't have another gallery for work I do for other shops yet, so for now the pictures will remain in the Custom Gallery. Those bottles are called "Unicursal Hexagram" bottles and are only available at Panpipes at the moment. If anyone has noticed, I changed my site's name from Kit's Glass to Kit's Glass Etchings, because there are already a few other Kit's Glass' out there(and I don't want to be sued :P) I'm going to be making some other changes to the site which will be up either later today or tomorrow, and which include an online store! I'm also now available for custom work via email request, so if anyone would like to order something from me, just write me an email and I'll work out the cost for design and shipping! 10/14/2007- Yesterday was Shadow Pirate Marketplace at Deva's, and it was a great night! There was fire fan dancing, poetry and singing, lot's of food, and me! I sold the "Xebec" decanter last night, and premiered a few new pieces. Of those were "Grog", "Axe Me About My Rum", "She's Back!", "Seeing Red", and the newest of the little hanging bottles, "Blood Thirsty". During the night the little frame fell off of "She's Back", probably because I used a hot glue gun rather than epoxy! I brought it home to fix, and used epoxy this time, so the frame's not going anywhere anymore. I'll probably have it back in the shop by Tuesday. It's my new favorite piece for this month :) Speaking of my favorite pieces, I added a new content area on the Artwork main page for Showcase of the Month pieces. Every month I will pick a new favorite piece, whether it be a custom piece or one for that's sale, and I will feature it in this section of the Artwork page. That page was looking a little bare to me anyways, so now it's all pretty! Check it out, and while you're there take a look at the other new pieces in the Pirate Gallery! For some reason, I cannot get the rest of the News page to stop printing in bold text! It's driving me crazy!! 10/9/2007- Saturday, October 13th is another event at Enchanted Deva's! It's the Shadow Pirate Marketplace featuring the League of Vampiric Bards, and it's from 6-10pm. I'll be one of the vendors at the event, so I hope to see you there! I dropped off a bunch of new items at Deva's today. Mostly Halloween themed, but a few others as well. I tried something new this time, and I etched a few candle glasses and hurricane glasses. They came out pretty neat, and they look really nice with a black candle or some white christmas lights inside them. The candle glasses are "Black Widow", "Dolphin", and "Shaman"; and the hurricane glasses are "Scary Faces", and "Crows". The hurricane glasses were done by sandblasting rather than acid etch this time, because the black surface of them is paint, which the acid won't go through. I made two more drinking glasses for the shop as well, this time with a "Batty" theme. I also brought in two more Pentagram bottles, a little "Moon" tealight, and another etched pewter goblet I call "Sun Chalice". You can see them all in my Pirate Gallery. The two Pirate Rum bottles sold over the past week, which means I no longer have any "rum" bottles in the shop anymore. I plan on making at least one for the event this weekend, and a few more to take in next Tuesday. 10/2/2007- Today has been a great day for me! I have a big job coming up that I'm really excited about, which I'll let everyone know about later in the month. Today, whilst visiting my favorite pirate shop to drop off some new items, I got to see every person who I wanted to talk to, and meet some new people that I'm greatful to have met! One of which was Efren Ramirez of Napolean Dynomite(Vote for Pedro!), and he bought "Dead Man's Rum"!! Not only that, but he asked me to autograph it for him!!! I also got to meet two other fans of my work that I didn't know about, and I got to show off two of my new pieces to the people who had donated the bottles for them! Also, on the way home I stopped at Carl's Jr., and the guy gave me a free soda! Yup, it was a good day today :) The new pieces I brought in are already in my Pirate Gallery. They are called "Eye of Horus", "The Grim Reaper", "Demon Stems", "No Doubt About It, Poison!", "Celtic Tree of Life", and "Moon and Pentagram". Check them out, and let me know what you think! I also brought in two new Wicked Poison bottles which are completely different from the others I've made, but I didn't take pictures of them, so you'll have to check them out in the shop ;) I can almost guarantee that every single Wicked Poison bottle will be unlike all the ones before it. I'm going to make a lot of Halloween themed bottles now, so expect to see those within the next week! 9/29/2007- I finally added a little bit about me on the About Us page today, although I won't pretend to have been particularly eloquent about it! I think I need a writer. One of my "big" pieces, "Celestial Goddess" sold over the past week! There have been a lot of inqueries about "Dead Man's Rum", which I had to fix the netting of this week also because of how many people wanted to see it! I also added another piece to the Pirate Gallery, called "Sea Spirits". Although, I think I may remake this one sometime in the future and add a little something to it. There's a new page in the menu as well, that I just added today. It's a Links page, and so far there aren't many on it, but there promises to be more soon! This coming Wednesday(I believe it's the 3rd of October) is another Hip Drop Belly Dancing Showcase at Enchanted Deva's! If I'm not too busy I think I may stop by, since I missed the belly dancing on Talk Like a Pirate Day. 9/25/2007- I've done a lot of editing on my page since my first news post! I've added some more views to four of the items in my Pirate Gallery, andI've added a new item, the Pentagram Bottles. Also, I put up two views of a new custom bottle I made for Tia Jill of Swag Arts. The bottle is called "Rackham's Rum", and it was my first online order(she had contacted me through my Myspace page.) As soon as I figure out a format for custom orders, more people will be able to order custom creations from me! I think sooner than that I will be creating a shopping cart for people to order Poison/Wicked/Pentagram bottles, but I need to make a bunch first so that I have some supply to sell from :) I tried, and failed, to add a cool little map-like guestbook to my page where people could upload photos and leave a little comment. The guestbook worked fine when I first put it on my homepage, but after a short while it just broke, crashing my homepage editor in the process! It still works on my Myspace page, but I guess it's just not compatable with Microsoft Office Live. So, instead I have a regular text guestbook, and the link to it is on both my homepage, and my contact page. I still haven't figured out what to say on my About Us page, because I'm trying to think of what I know about me, lol! I'll get around to it soon, but in the meantime I have orders coming in as I'm writing this, so I gotta go! UPDATE: I also added the custom piece, "Circe", to my custom gallery today! Enchanted Deva's had their Mabon Ritual event tonight, I guess I missed the ball on posting that one ahead of time :P In any case, there will be another event at Deva's on Friday, the 28th. It's called Classic Pirate Cartoons, and it starts at 8:15pm. It will be a fun night of watching all of those old cartoons you enjoyed when you were younger, in the beautiful backyard of Enchanted Deva's! 9/22/2007- Well, this website is brand new, at least as of today! I want to add a few more things, such as a way for people to order from me, or maybe a guestbook if I can. For now, though, have a look around, and if you have any questions or feedback, feel free to e-mail me through my contact page! |
